What Is a Starlight Headliner?
A starlight headliner uses fiber optic cables — hair-thin strands of optical fiber — woven into premium headliner fabric. The cables are connected to an LED light source (driver unit) that powers them all simultaneously. The result is a seamlessly integrated ceiling full of individual points of light that replicate a clear night sky.

Our Starlight Headliner Installation Process
Step 1 — Consultation & Design
We discuss your preferences — star density, shooting star count, color, and light intensity. We create a custom layout for your vehicle's specific headliner dimensions.
Step 2 — Headliner Removal
The existing headliner is carefully removed from the vehicle without damaging surrounding trim.
Step 3 — Fiber Optic Installation
Hundreds of fiber optic strands are hand-inserted through the headliner fabric and distributed according to the custom star map pattern. This process is meticulous and labor-intensive — typically requiring a full day of focused work.
Step 4 — LED Driver Unit Installation
The fiber optic bundle is connected to the LED driver unit, which is concealed in the trunk or a panel void. Wiring is routed cleanly and connected to a switched power source so the stars illuminate with the interior lights or a dedicated switch.
Step 5 — Reinstallation & Testing
The completed headliner is reinstalled, all trim is replaced, and the system is tested thoroughly.
